The amount of pressure I put on myself during the times when the art part of life isn’t progressing much is tremendous. I have been feeling very hesitant about starting a new piece as every other idea I had didn’t really feel worthy of implementing.
Only after seeing @anastasiamacnab getting back at it after a break I felt the urge to do the same. This time I allowed myself to be more careless and childish. Not thinking about the outcome, not punishing myself for “mistakes” along the way.
There’s quite an extensive declaration of love from Alexey Sherbakov to his wife as an underlying layer of this madness which was written on a photograph of two people kissing in the middle of the street by Robert Doisneau (Le baiser de l’Hôtel de Ville, Paris 1950)
